On the Korean market, MIU has announced its latest computer named Hybrid Dual Portable Computer. One of the best features is the dual Operative System mode, that lets users pick between Windows or Linux. Like the portable word suggests, this computer is very small and the 4-inch display screen is a good proof. It supports a 800×480 resolution which should be good enough to watch the multimedia files. Other features on the MIU HDPC include the obvious wireless signal for an internet connection, being able to work as a car computer, mobile phone, digital camera, or voice recorder, and lastly, the popular dictionary. The price is not known yet, but it will cost between $395 and $495 when it becomes available in July. (Read the full post about ‘MIU HDPC - Useful Portable Computer’…)

We tend to view bling as a kind of moneyed variant of acne: Swarovski “crystals” erupt like blackheads across the normally smooth and pretty skin of their unfortunate victims. But the modern gadget, like the classic tools of old, deserves an elegant outfit, and Prestigio aims to make the humble portable hard drive as dapper as a Mont Blanc or a Leica. To do this, Prestigio has used leather. The cowhide case encloses a 2.5″ portable drive, which comes in sizes of up to 320GB. The problem, which you knew was coming, is that Prestigio has skimped on the details. The drive needs a power cable, which negates any of the elegance the box might have. The company has also plastered its logo all over the place. (Read the full post about ‘Prestigio Takes The “P” Out Of Pleather’…)

Have you ever thought that your mouse was just too large to use comfortably? Perhaps if you sliced it down the middle it would be the perfect size. Honestly, I can’t say that I’ve ever had such a thought cross my mind. Rather there have been some mice which I thought were almost too slim for my tastes. If you’re very much unlike myself, you might enjoy this Super-Slim USB mouse. This mouse measures only 0.94 inches wide, which is really thin. I dug out one of my old plain-Jane Logitech mice and measured it for reference, and it came up at just over two inches, making this mouse less than half the width of an ordinary mouse. We all thought there would finally be peace surrounding Blu-ray players now that the competing hd dvd format was declared dead. Well, the smoke has barely cleared, and now another battle awaits Blu-ray. This time it’s a patent infringement battle. Now to be fair, Blu-ray players are not the only devices at the center of the patent infringement controversy. The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) is launching a patent infringement investigation that involves a number of electronic devices, including handheld mobile devices, instrument panels, billboards, traffic lights, and data storage devices in addition to Blu-ray players. Mitsubishi is entering the Blu-ray disc recorder market with a big splash, they have announced two new Blu-ray disc recorders – the DVR-BZ100 and the DVR-BZ200. Both models belong to Mitsubishi’s “Real Blu-ray” disc recorder series, and both can simultaneously record two digital broadcast programs in HD quality. The two Blu-ray disc recorders differ in their respective HDD capacity though. The DVR-BZ100 has 250GB while the DVR-BZ200 is packed with 500GB. Of course, Mitsubishi didn’t stop there. To make the two Blu-ray disc recorders even more appealing to consumers, Mitsubishi threw in a second remote control (in addition to the standard) that offers a touchscreen LCD panel that displays most needed buttons based on user’s chosen options.
