Labels and stickers. How you see your life without labels and stickers? Almost every business needs custom labels or custom stickers. We can make them by ourselves or we can order from label makers. But let me present you the easiest way: order online custom labels or custom stickers. Recently I found Frontier Label website, a printing company which make custom Labels and and custom stickers company. They started in 2004 and now they uses an HP Indigo press to print the custom labels and stickers and AB Graphics converting machinery to laminate, die cut, and slit the stickers and labels onto separate rolls. The main advantage of order label online is time saving. (Read the full post about ‘Labels and stickers online’…)

Posted Mar 25th 2008 4:43AM by Thomas RickerFiled under: Portable AudioSony BMG boss, Rolf Schmidt-Holtz, was just quoted in an interview saying that Sony BMG is “working on an online music subscription service.” The service would cost between €6 to €8 per month (about $9 to $12) when launching later in the year and provide full access to its entire music catalog. He goes on to say that customers could own “some songs” even after the subscription was canceled. Interesting on its own, right? Now the kicker: it will work “for all digital players, including Apple’s ipod.” That means DRM-free unless Apple agrees to license its FairPlay DRM… which it won’t. Posted Mar 24th 2008 10:42PM by Paul MillerFiled under: Gaming, HDTVNothing beats that straight-from-the-oven firmware smell, and Sony just hit the internet with its PS3 2.20 firmware update goodness. The big win here is BD-Live interactive Blu-ray compatibility (Blu-ray 2.0), but there are some other minor tweaks as well, mostly multimedia and web browsing related. Unfortunately, portable copy didn’t make the cut, but there’s always 2.30, right?[Thanks to everyone who sent this in]Tags: AAC, home theater, sat-nav, cool gear (Read the full post about ‘PS3 2.20 update is out, get your BD-Live while it’s fresh’…)

Mobile Choice UK reviews the LG KF600 and writes, “For a touch-screen phone, the KF600 is easy to use, but it achieves this by mimicking a regular phone interface. As a result, you don’t get the large display benefits of other touch-screen phones. It’s still good fun though, and well thought out…Aside from the slow data speeds for web browsing, the KF600 is a good all-round performer and the camera takes decent snaps.”

I have often passed a parcel of property that I’d love to buy knowing that sometime or another it would be a great investment. Immediate timing is not always right for an acquisition but down the road it could be perfect. This is just the position that Dish Network has found itself in. Was it by chance or was it a calculated bet? Recently, blocks of wireless airwaves came up for auction since the analog TV will soon go all digital. In a surprising turn of events Dish Network partnered with Frontier Wireless won a block of one-way communication licenses. Analysts within the satellite television, mobile communications and investment industries are speculating why Dish Network would invest as much as $711 million dollars for a commodity that it is not completely compatible with their core business. Posted Mar 24th 2008 9:10PM by Darren MurphFiled under: Desktops It’s not often we see a desktop surrounded by hordes of folks just waiting for reviews in order to pull the trigger (or not), but Shuttle’s Foresight Linux-based KPC is one of those machines. The Celeron 430-powered box actually managed to hold its own, and oftentimes best, an overclocked 3.2GHz Pentium 4 rig in a number of everyday tasks (read: Office use, web browsing, etc.), and of course, accessing the internals in order to load in upgrades of your own was a lesson in simplicity. All in all, the KPC seemed to be a bargain for the price, particularly if you’ve got a spare mouse, keyboard and monitor already collecting dust and scouting a new partner in crime. Researchers from the the University of California, Los Angeles have made a discovery that could mean longer lasting prosthetic for people with disabilities. It is the invention of an artificial muscle that has the ability to self-heal.
“We’ve made an artificial muscle that, when you apply electricity to it, it expands” more than 200 percent, stated UCLA scientist Qibing Pei. “The motion and energy is a lot like human muscles.” The artificial muscle Pei is referring to is comprised of carbon nanotubes instead of the usual artificial muscles made of metal based film dielectric elastomers.
What makes the nanotube version of the artificial muscle self-healing is that when a section of the nanotube fails, it becomes non-conductive and keeps the damage to the muscle from spreading.
