Nothing burns time at the end of a long work day better than some good, old-fashioned gadget lust. There are two very good unboxings floating around the web today, the first is a video of the new 8.9-inch Eee PC and then one of Canon’s newest iteration of the Digital Rebel, the XSi.

We’ve covered the Eee PC 900 a number of times, but it is not out for a few weeks here in the US. A number of publications overseas have looked at them already, but with this unboxing you can make believe that you own one. Take notice of that display, it looks way better than the original 7-inch model.

Next Engadget points us over to a photo unboxing of the Digital Rebel XSi, the replacement of the XTi. This new release of the hugely popular Rebel series brings along a live-view display, higher resolution images, and SD/SDHC memory cards, instead of CF. You don’t exactly have to throw your XTi in the trash, but if you are using an original Rebel or looking to upgrade from a point-and-shoot, this could be a great chance.
