Teddy Bear Lamp might scar your child for life

Teddy Bear Lamp might scar your child for life
Does a child in your family have a rough time falling asleep without their cuddly teddy and a night light? They’re not alone. In fact, I’d still sleep with my childhood teddy bear if it wasn’t for the wear and tear it’s taken over the years, which now means I keep it in a special hyperbaric chamber. While this teddy might not be the best stuffed animal to snuggle with in bed, it does offer both a cuddly exterior and an extra glow of light to protect you from the boogie man. This Teddy Bear Lamp replaces the head of a teddy with a lamp shade and bulb. It’s going to be kinda tough to explain to your children why the teddy bear is missing their respiratory-essential head, but maybe you can just tell them the teddy’s father was a chandelier or something. Sony 32GB SxS Card Is Speedy
Sony has a brand new SxS Card that comes with 32GB of storage space, allowing you another option to store all your favorite digital memories. This SxS Pro memory card is able to transfer data at incredible speeds of up to 800Mbps, but that speed comes at a price of $1,500. 32GB is able to store approximately 100 minutes’ worth of full High Definition video and is able to withstand a wide range of abuse and shock, although that doesn’t mean you should take things for granted and drive your car over it in a stress test. Baacode tells you exactly where your clothes came from

Baacode tells you exactly where your clothes came from
I’ve had a fondness for Merino sheep since my Aussie holiday earlier this year, when I was lucky enough to see a couple of newly-born Merino lambs. When they grow up, their thick coat produces excellent wool that is often used to make fleeces. Now outdoor apparel company Icebreaker has made it easy for customers to find out where their fleecy products came from with the help of a system they’re calling Baacode (get it?) which launched last week. Hooked up Dorm Room? Sounds Nice

Hooked up Dorm Room? Sounds Nice
Notebook with digital music connection–check. Xbox 360–check. Internet connection for listening to Pandora and Last.fm–check. Flat-screen television–check. So that dorm room or apartment is all set up right? You may have all the hardware, but don’t forget about one of the most important components: what’s actually pumping out those sounds. All too often speakers are overlooked while all our money is put into other components. Boston Acoustics has some ideas on how to get around that situation and they have produced a few products that are designed to put out great sound while fitting into our spaces (not having our spaces work around them). DND Casa TV Mirrors

DND Casa TV Mirrors
DND Casa, a design company from Korea has harnessed the power of Ad Notam mirror image technology to come up with a wide range of TV-equipped mirrors, offering virtually unlimited possibilities where TV viewing is concerned. I must say it would be pretty weird watching another face in the mirror that has a script to follow, but then again I’ve always seen mirrors to be less-than-interactive in the first place. What are some of the other home areas where you think would fit in a TV mirror nicely, and how much are you willing to part with to get such an effect? USB Missile Launcher Auto Aims

USB Missile Launcher Auto Aims
The USB Missile Launcher has been hacked to look for infrared targets, releasing its deadly array of foam weaponry at the said targets. Too bad it isn’t capable of doing the same to pesky colleagues as well as irritating kids who tend to make as much noise as possible whenever you want to get some work done. If you’ve got plenty of spare time on your hands and a dash of creativity, then why don’t you give this DIY project a try? Verizon Adds Visual Voicemail: $3 Per Month

Verizon Adds Visual Voicemail: $3 Per Month
What has the iPhone ever done for us? Apart from multi touch, a real internet browser and a great ipod, what has it really ever done for us? Alright, I’ll grant you, Visual Voicemail is something the iphone has done for us. But now, it will no longer be an iPhone exclusive. Verizon has just added it as a pay-extra option at $3 per month and, apart from the rather ugly looking interface design, it looks to be the same as Apple’s offering. Visual Voice Mail is an application that allows subscribers to view caller and voice mail information and listen to voice mail messages in any order on their wireless device. Scroll through your messages, pick the ones you want to listen to, erase or archive them right from your screen on your wireless device. PLX Kiwi helps you save gas

PLX Kiwi helps you save gas
If you have a naturally heavy gas foot pressing against the pedal no matter what car you drive, chances are you’ve filled up your tank much more often than normal, law-abiding citizens do. The PLX Kiwi is here to help you save gas in this time of ever rising costs by displaying your current fuel consumption as you drive. In addition, there is a scorecard that lets you know whether you’re a responsible driver or not without putting the pedal to the metal unnecessarily. Priced at £299, I’m not too sure whether it will be worth it as constantly checking yourself and using some common sense will go a long way in helping you save on your mileage.
